Our workshop stocks wood for icon painting (various sizes), prepared using the best materials.
The wood used for our icons is excellent quality 18-20 mm marine plywood. We follow the traditional Byzantine technique of gesso (hot method). The materials used are: gauze, rabbit-skin glue, chalk and zinc.
